#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities, and organizations to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide. This year, #Giving Tuesday falls on November 27th and will kick off the giving season by inspiring people to take action to improve their communities, giving back in better, smarter ways to the charities and causes they believe in. #GivingTuesday demonstrates how every act of generosity counts, and that they mean even more when we give together.

“We are excited to be part of this effort, engaging our community to think globally and act locally. The OCCF represents a wide variety of ideas and interests of individual donors who have united in a common purpose – the bettering of their community both now and in the future. With the momentum of #GivingTuesday, we hope to give people the opportunity to support Otsego County causes with a gift of any size,” said Dana Bensinger, OCCF Executive Director.

Please support the Otsego County Community Foundation giving page this #GivingTuesday to help us further our mission to enhance the quality of life for all citizens by building endowments, awarding grants and convening leaders. Local giving…..local impact. Click here to make a difference.
