What Matters to You Photo Contest

The OCCF has been connecting people who care to what matters most for nearly 25 years.  As we look ahead we are asking: What Matters to You?

We invite all residents − children, students, adults and seniors − to participate in this project by taking a photograph of a cherished person, place or structure in our community that captures What Matters to You.  Be in the photo if you want or pose with your friends, family, and/or pets!

Caption the photo: ________ Matters to me and write a sentence or more about why the subject matters to you.

Winner of the photo will receive a $100 Downtown Merchants Association Gift Certificate. But most importantly, we will learn what matters to those who matter most to us, our Community Members!

Entry Submission Period: August 2nd – September 4th

Voting Period: September 5th – September 9th

Once the submission period ends, we will publish a Facebook album with the photo entries. The public will have the chance to vote for their favorite photo. The photo with the most likes wins the prize. If there is a tie the OCCF staff will chose a winner randomly.

Winner announced: September 11th

Submit your entries to: amanda@otsegofoundation.org, with the subject line: Photo Contest. You may also call 989-731-0597 for inquiries.
