Census 2020: Three Ways to Respond

Jan 6, 2020 | All News

By April 1, 2020, every home will receive an invitation to participate in the 2020 Census. You will have three options for responding:

  • Online
  • By phone
  • By mail

The 2020 Census marks the first time you’ll have the option to respond online. Do you want to respond using the online version but don’t have strong internet or a computer? Within Otsego County there will be three locations that you can visit to respond online: the Otsego County Library, United Way and Habitat for Humanity. We would like to thank these organizations for helping members of our community register for the 2020 Census. Why does the census matter to Otsego County? Census data is used to determine funding for programs and projects ranging from early childhood education to senior nutrition, and all the many other ways in between. Please remember everyone counts.
