Extreevaganza 2025: A Night Wrapped in Magic, Memories, and Community

Dec 10, 2025 | All News

There are some nights that sparkle long after the final bow has been tied — and this year’s Extreevaganza was one of them. Guests began their evening by placing their choice for the Community Choice Grant into a North Pole mailbox before stepping into a beautifully decorated space filled with classic Christmas charm. Festive plaids, warm white lights, and elegant holiday touches set the tone as everyone made their way on the red carpet for a keepsake photo moment. Champagne in hand, attendees entered a room alive with friends, coworkers, and neighbors, all dressed to impress for one of Gaylord’s most cherished traditions.

Before dinner, guests explored the extraordinary packages up for auction and shared plenty of laughs over festive holiday games. The joyful hum of conversation blended beautifully with the Gaylord Community Orchestra’s beloved Christmas melodies, creating a warm and celebratory atmosphere. Once everyone settled in for the plated dinner, the heart of the evening began to unfold. Speakers offered touching reflections on the Otsego Community Foundation’s impact, while memories of Extreevaganzas past reminded guests of the event’s long-standing legacy of generosity and connection. Grants were awarded to remarkable nonprofits making meaningful differences right here in Otsego County, and soon the energy rose as the live auction took center stage. The entire evening radiated a sense of giving, friendship, and community pride — all wrapped in a holiday backdrop that felt truly magical.

By the end of the night, one thing was clear: we didn’t just put a bow on it — we wrapped up a celebration that will be remembered for years to come. And as we look ahead to the future of the Otsego Community Foundation and the impact still to unfold, the excitement only grows. If Extreevaganza 2025 is any indication, our community’s spirit is shining brighter than ever.

Although we previously shared that this would be the final Extreevaganza, overwhelming community support inspired a new chapter for this beloved tradition. To honor more than 25+ years of holiday magic while allowing the Otsego Community Foundation to focus on its mission, we invited local venues to carry forward the celebration. BJ’s Catering and Event Center, Otsego Resort, and Treetops enthusiastically agreed to keep the tradition alive by taking turns hosting for the next three years. Curious who will host next? Watch the recap video below!
