If you made a donation, were a corporate partner, volunteered, or attended Extreevaganza either in person or virtually, THANK YOU. With your generosity, a record $115,000 was raised during this philanthropic evening that benefits the Otsego Community Foundation. In the spirit of Extreevaganza, the OCF is like an evergreen. The organization was planted for our community and continues to grow and get stronger so we can help our community thrive.

Your generosity will ensure the mission of the OCF – activating generosity for a strong community – is ready for whatever the future might bring: responding to emergencies, awarding proactive grants, expanding leadership opportunities and securing matching funds to leverage resources from outside our community, for our community.

Thank you to all who joined us this year. We appreciated your patience as we navigated a hybrid event. This year we sold out the in-person event and it was amazing to be back together celebrating philanthropy. The virtual event was filled with interviews and auction item showcases the hour before the program started. However you joined the event, we hope you enjoyed yourself.

During the night of Extreevaganza, we also had a special grant making activity that helped raise funds for three endowed funds: Herman Lunden Memorial Fund that benefits the Pigeon River Discovery Centers, Jim Mongeau Alpenfest Fund that benefits Alpenfest, and the Otsego County Historical Society fund that benefits the Otsego County Historical Society and the historical museum. Those attending the event and joining virtually were able to learn more from these organizations by visiting their display tables or watching their interviews.

Extreevaganza is not about planting a new tree, it’s about tending to a tree with strong roots. With the generosity from this year’s event, that evergreen is continuing to be nurtured. The funds raised will touch the lives of those around us and ourselves for years to come. We are so grateful to you for joining our efforts to give, recover and thrive.
