Grow Your Skills This Spring: Grant Writing Workshop Series

Apr 2, 2026 | All News

This spring, the Otsego Community Foundation is pleased to offer a four‑part Grant Writing Workshop Series designed to help nonprofit professionals and volunteers strengthen their grant writing skills and expand their organization’s funding opportunities.

Held on April 30, May 7, May 14, and May 28 from 8:30–10:00 a.m. at the Otsego County Library, this series is ideal for anyone involved in grant writing—or interested in learning—especially those seeking funding opportunities beyond Otsego County. The workshops are offered in partnership with three experienced local grant writers who will share practical insights and real‑world expertise.

Participants will learn about the full grant writing process, including relationship building with funders, understanding what makes a strong grant application, and applying proven strategies to increase success. No prior grant writing experience is required, making this an accessible and valuable opportunity for both beginners and those looking to refine their skills.

Sessions begin April 30, and registration is required. Participants are encouraged to bring a project idea they’d like to develop throughout the series to get the most out of the experience.

🗓 Registration deadline: April 17
