Community Funding Partners Award Over $106,000 in Grants

Jun 12, 2019 | All News, Grant

The 2019 Giving Together celebration was held on Thursday, May 30th. This event brought together the donors and grantees from this year’s Community Grant Program at the Otsego County Library to commemorate the good work and generosity of this community.

The Community Grant Program is a collaborative effort made possible by local funding partners, including the Kiwanis Club of Gaylord, Michigan, Otsego Community Foundation, Otsego Wildlife Legacy SocietyMunson Healthcare Otsego Memorial HospitalOtsego County United Way and Rotary Club of Gaylord. This unique program, administered by the Otsego Community Foundation, allows nonprofits to compete with one grant application which then is reviewed and considered by all funding partners. We are thrilled that together we granted over $106,000 to meet the needs and advance opportunities in the community. We are excited this program grows each year to impact the community we live in and love. The Otsego Community Foundation is also thrilled to have funded 21 local organizations for a total of $66,952 from 18 of the OCF Funds. Together we can do more for the community we love!
