OCF Now Accepting Scholarship Applications

Feb 6, 2023 | All News

The Otsego Community Foundation (OCF) is accepting scholarship applications for graduating seniors, fifth-year early college participants, and current college students starting on February 1, 2023. A total of 13 scholarships will be awarded, ranging from $500-$1,500. General scholarships, as well as areas of interest, including agriculture, education, nursing, science, and vocations, are available.

“The number of scholarships available is a reflection of our generous community and their dedication to education. The majority of the scholarships are set up in memory of a loved one. This is a way to create a legacy and support access to higher education,” said Dana Bensinger, OCF Executive Director.

The application process is electronic, and all details can be found at www.otsegofoundation.org/apply/scholarships. We are excited to announce that we will be accepting an optional biographical essay and video expanding on your story, interests, and goals.  Completed applications and mandatory transcripts must be submitted by March 8, 2023, at midnight. Scholarship winners will be notified via phone in April.

If you have any questions, please get in touch with Amanda Sosa at amanda@otsegofoundation.org or 989-731-0597.
