Your story and work are unique and important. If you have received a grant from OCF, people want to hear about it!
We invite you to share updates, milestones, and challenges at any time with our team as we are excited to learn about the progress of the project. We will pass along updates and correspondence to the generous partners who made the funding possible. We understand that challenges may arise. If you experience any delays or difficulties with bringing your proposal to completion, please reach out to discuss. Our OCF team strives to create a true partnership with our nonprofit partners, and part of that commitment is listening, sharing, and learning together. Thank you for your dedication to our community!
Ways to share your story with us
Depending on the scope of your proposal, it may be best to plan a visit or more fitting to write a report. Grant reflections are a fun way to share the impact of your work with the foundation, donors, and the community! Whatever preference works best for your organization and the project, options include:
Schedule an interview
- Talk one-on-one with OCF staff. A great option if you prefer a conversation over writing. We’ll guide the discussion and keep it informal.
Record a video
- Capture a short video on your phone or computer. Record and submit through this link.
Share 2-3 photos with quotes
- Send a few photos along with quotes or short captions from staff volunteers, or participants. Great for storytelling through visuals.
Submit a written update
- Share a brief written summary (1-2 paragraphs) highlighting how the grant made a difference and any outcomes or stories.
Invite to a site visit
- Let us (and associated donors) see your work firsthand. Great for project milestone moments such as an installation ceremony or a ribbon cutting, or sharing after completion.
Grant reflections must be completed by the end of the grant period, typically within one year. Please reach out if you have an outstanding reflection to submit. Reflections must be up-to-date to be eligible for future grant cycles.
Schedule or submit a reflection to DeLayni Brown at delayni@otsegofoundation.org.
Thank you for your commitment to our community!
